Newborn Photography

The early days with your newborn are so special. Their sweet skin, their tiny hands, and their milky smell leave a lasting impression on your heart. But those days are fleeting, which is why it’s important to capture those precious moments while your baby is still so little.

Newborn photography sessions are all about welcoming and celebrating the newest member of your family in a beautifully natural and candid way. My aim is to capture the tiniest of details that make your child so special, and the moments of love between you.

Whilst the focus will naturally be on your sweet baby, I will also take plenty of family photos to showcase your new life together and the loving bond you now share.

Precious moments such as these, should be captured forever.

Newborn photography sessions with me are $800, and include the following:

• Unlimited Advice pre shoot when selecting outfits for your timeless and beautiful images
• A 1-2 hour photography session, which includes immediate family members
• Full editing and colour correction of images
• 40+ high resolution images available for digital download

A deposit of $200 is due at the time of your booking to secure your preferred date in my calendar.

What if my baby arrives earlier or later than expected?

Although you may not know the exact date your baby will be born, I only book in a certain number of newborn sessions per month to allow for flexibility. This means that I can still accomodate you if your baby arrives earlier or later than expected.

What exactly is a newborn ‘lifestyle’ session?

A newborn ‘lifestyle’ photography session is a more natural, un-posed approach. The photos are taken in the comfort of your own home where you and your baby are most comfortable. I allow time in the shoot for nappy changes and feeding, to ensure that your session is as relaxed and as comfortable as possible for both you and your baby.
My aim is to document the early moments of not only the newest member of your family, but also of you together as a family, so you don’t miss any of this special time together.

Do we need to prepare anything before the shoot?

As I come to your home, there’s not a lot that you need to prepare. When I arrive, I will look through your home for spots with the most natural light. These are where most of your shots will be taken.

How early should I book in our shoot?

I can only take on a limited number of shoots per month to allow for flexibility around birth dates, so it is best to book as early as possible.

How do I book my session with you?

Get in touch with me via the contact page and we can schedule a date in for your session. Once your deposit has been paid and your contract has been filled out and returned back to me, your session will be confirmed and booked in.
